Tasting Notes

87-91
Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 98
Black-ruby color. Very black, rather claret-like aromas of cassis, violet, licorice and mint. Vibrant, intense cassis flavor seems less evolved than the '95 at a similar stage. Boasts persistent finishing flavor, but the tannins are tougher and a bit dry.
